My Collection - TCGDeutschEnglish

Terms of use

Translation for convenience — the German version is the binding one.

1. Provider and scope

My Collection - TCG (the “app”) is run by [first and last name] (see the legal notice). These terms apply to the use of the app and the optional browser extension.

2. What the app is

The app is a free tool to keep track of a collection of Magic: The Gathering cards and products and estimate its value. Nothing is bought or sold through it. It is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Cardmarket, TCGplayer, Scryfall or MTGJSON.

3. Account

Using the app requires an account. You must be at least 16, give a valid email address and keep your password secret. An account is for one person.

4. Prices and values are estimates

Prices and values come from third-party data (among others the Cardmarket price guide and TCGplayer prices via MTGJSON) and from your own entries. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong and are neither an offer nor a recommendation to buy, sell or invest. Decisions you base on them are your own responsibility.

5. What isn't allowed

6. Your content

What you enter or upload stays yours. You allow us to store and process it as far as the app needs to; we don't publish it. You can report unlawful content to us at any time at [email address]. If these terms are broken, we may remove content or suspend an account; we tell you why.

7. Availability and changes to the app

We aim for reliable operation but can't promise constant availability. We may develop the app, change or remove features. If we shut the app down, we announce it at least [4 weeks] before, so you can download your data.

8. Liability

The app is free of charge. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. Otherwise liability is excluded. Please keep your own copy of important data (export in the app).

9. Ending the use

You can delete your account in the settings at any time. We can end the use with [2 weeks]' notice, or at once for serious breaches.

10. Changes to these terms

We tell you about changes at least [4 weeks] before they take effect, by email or in the app. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

11. Law and contact

German law applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Point of contact for users and authorities (including under the Digital Services Act): [email address], in German or English.

12. Final provision

If a provision is invalid, the others remain valid.
